House of Gray is a custom created typeface for the House of Gray creators and community, art directed by Ash Valmont.
The typeface had a unique brief: “It needs to look like Sirius wrote it, but not very well. Like he’s trying very hard to write like noble wizards would, with their quill and ink, but he’s hasn’t been taught, and doesn’t quite know how too”. The typeface consists of multiple stylistic sets to help create a more natural and hand written look.
